Mechanical Convection Drying Ovens: Mechanical convection ovens feature a PID controller which provides you accurate and reliable temperature control up to 482°F (250°C). Ideal for drying and sterilization. The ovens require minimal heating time, reaching 212°F (100°C) in 20 to 50 minutes. Easy-to-view LCD reads time, current temperature, set temperature, running status, and fan status. Gravity Convection Drying Ovens:Gravity convection ovens feature a PID controller which provides you accurate and reliable temperature control up to 392°F (200°C). Natural convection heating allows sample temperature to be uniform; suitable for sterilization, powder drying, and high-temperature storage. The ovens require minimal heating time, reaching 212°F (100°C) in 15 to 30 minutes. Easy-to-view LCD reads time, current temperature, set temperature, running status, and fan status.

These programmable vacuum ovens allow you to manage up to eight programs with eight steps each, one in which temperature, timer, and fan speed can be set. The PID temperature controller provides accurate and reliable temperature control up to 392°F (200°C). An air inlet offers easy access to inert gases such as nitrogen. The ovens feature independent vacuum interface and vents. They are also equipped with a solenoid valve to control vacuum degree and vacuum pump.

Use these heaters as a dry, constant temperature source for various lab and research applications. All models have independent indicator lights to show main power, heater action, and over-temperature cut out. The “number of blocks accepted” on the ordering table indicate the number of single-width blocks accepted by each block heater. A heater that accepts two single-width blocks will accept one double-width block. Use three- and four-block models for high-throughput applications such as chemical oxygen demand (COD). This dual-insert digital block heater heats up from 25 to 100°C in 8 minutes and achieves temperature stability of ±0.1°C at 37°C. Quickly set and view temperature on the 5-digit LED. Side panels help dissipate heat from the outer surfaces for safe handling. Adjust the countdown timer between 1 minute and 100 hours in 1-minute increments. Once the countdown timer has completed, it will beep and the unit will begin to cool to ambient temperature.

Stirrers and Hotplates:Designed with microprocessor-controlled dual thermocouples, these stirring hot plates offer you accurate temperature control and protection from overheating. Actual surface temperature is displayed in real time on an easy-to-read digital screen. Powerful magnets and motor provide you with stirring speeds of up to 2000 rpm and mixing capability of up to 15 L of liquid. The square plate design allows you flexibility of vessel sizes and combinations.
To keep you safe, a “hot” warning light flashes whenever the plate surface temperature is above 50 °C and continues to flash until the temperature drops below 50 °C, even when unplugged.
These stirring hot plates feature BioCote® antimicrobial protection which reduces the presence of odor and stain causing microbes such as bacteria, mold, and fungi on the product surface by up to 99.99%.
OverHead Stirrer and Mixers: Cole-Parmer GP laboratory mixer ensures accurate, dependable motor speed control with “soft-start” feature and smooth, gradual adjustment to the speed setting. Constant speed is maintained electronically via automatic compensation for changes in load torque demands at both high and low speeds. Built-in motor current compensation minimizes speed drift with changes in load. Motor current limiting protects the system in case of a locked rotor condition. Output circuit protection protects against inadvertent output shorting.
The mixer rotates at 40 to 4000 rpm with a maximum torque of 9.5 in-oz (6.7 N·cm). The speed control knob is used to turn on and set the speed of the mixer motor and provides a 100:1 adjustment range. The LED indicates the mixer is powered on when it is green. When it flashes, it indicates a limit condition has been reached, such as an overtemperature or over-current situation.

The PCRmax® Eco48 real time PCR system is a high specification, economically priced real time thermal cycler that accommodates a unique 48-well polypropylene PCR plate utilizing the same geometry as standard 384-well plates, but only 1/8 of the size. This enables users to dramatically reduce the qPCR reagent volumes compared to traditional 96-well instruments, whilst still producing a strong fluorescence signal. Minimizing the plate size also significantly improves thermal uniformity. A minimum volume of 5 μl is validated, cutting reagent costs in half and making more efficient use of expensive and hard to acquire template DNA samples. MIQE compliant open license software gives confidence when it comes to publishing your data. Eco48 allows for simple multiplex analysis with up to four dyes at once. Fast cycling enables several experiments per day, all at an economical price. Eco48 is an open platform that can utilize any chemistry, dye or PCR reagent. The easy to use software, makes analysis simple and fast.
The Eco48 system comes with two distinct softwares, the first, Eco Control, drives the unit’s set up and experimental runs while Eco Study is the analysis package. The Eco48 software is open license, you can install them on as many PCs as you like, and MIQE compliant. With the Eco 48 system and software, data collection is monitored in real time, allowing researchers to access run viability immediately. The user-friendly data analysis interface also allows researchers to easily view the amplification plot, melt curve analysis, and the analyzed results, including Cq values, PCR efficiency, R2 and Y-intercept.
